Countries

The following pages show countries points from 1.000 years before Christ (B.C.) to 2020. Each Country total score is the sum of all points scored by all of its cities. The second column represents each country points growth in a specified time period and the third one total number of cities in each country with structures higher than 90 m.

It is interesting to see that from 1.400 to 1.800 many cities lost some points. The main reason for this is the destruction of many ancient strucutures, churches and cathedrals towers and spires, by lightning, fire, earthquakes and other natural phenomena. And from 1.945 to 1.950 many European Countries lost points again, mainly Germany, because of World War II. At that time sadly many churches were bombed and destroyed.
